The Leap Partnership

One of my first jobs in Chicago was with more of a creative playpen than an advertising agency. Billed as the first creative-only agency, Leap quickly attracted major clients including Nike, Anheuser-Busch and Hardee’s. As a young copywriter, there could not have been a better place to hone my creative craft. As well as my skills at basketball, pool and every other game we could fit in the building. Because that’s what creatives do when there are no account people around to keep them in line. Below is a house ad the founders ran in the Wall Street Journal.
